Forres Angling Association was formed in 1933, the FAA water consists of four miles of double bank fishing on the River Findhorn, some pools are fly only and have high and low bank fishing.
The river provides excellent salmon and trout fishing and is popular with anglers from around the globe.
Membership is open to anyone living within the IV36 postcode area, permit cost is £125 plus £60 joining fee. Junior membership is £2.

Visiting anglers must have a permit before they start fishing.
Permits can be purchased in advance from the local tackle shop ERMITS CAN BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE FROM THE TACKLE SHOP
The permit must be returned to the tackle shop at the end of their lease.
