Linlithgow Loch Open Spring Singles Competition

The competition is open to all keen fly fishers, and the entry fee is only £30.00.

1st Prize £100.00 + Fly Line Plus Trophy

2nd Prize £75.00 + Fly Line

3rd Prize £50.00 + Fly Line

Heaviest Fish £25.00 

 

The competition will run from 9 am till 4 pm, all boats must be docked or be ready to dock by 4 pm. Any boats not docked by 4.15 p.m. will be disqualified unless mitigating circumstances deem otherwise.

Competitors must arrive by 8 am and set up, there will be a competition briefing at 8.30 am

You may be allowed 2 rods to be set up during the competition, but only one rod must be used at any one time, and lines removed from the water before using the other rod.

Only fishery landing nets are allowed to be used during the competition.

All competitors must be on their allocated boat and ready to leave the dock at 9 a.m. once the horn has sounded.

There will also be a raffle on the day with some cracking prizes to be won, tickets are £5.00 per strip.
